Charlotte

This sketch was inspired by Neil Gaiman's short story, Looking For The Girl. There is a character named Charlotte in there, giving me the idea for this drawing, so I decided to call the girl in the picture Charlotte as well. I gave her a venetian mask because I couldn't decide what to do about her eyes. Her hair is based on a real person in my school who has hair like that.
This was drawn entirely freehand with no reference, only guidelines, because those are essential
